Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon
Part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, the Zappos.com Rock'n Roll Las Vegas Marathon is an evening marathon and half- marathon. The Rock n Roll Las Vegas Marathon drew over 30,000 participants in 2012 from around the world. The series enjoys great appeal for the destination athlete, tremendous local support and is known as a dynamic running platform.
But that doesn't mean running can't be fun. The event was founded on the idea of making running fun. In Las Vegas fun can cover a wide spectrum. So to make this a special Las Vegas marathon event it is held at night and along the Strip which is closed to all traffic (except runners of course). There will be music infused with the running. The music every mile and party-like atmosphere make this an event made for Vegas. Runners start and finish on the neon-lit Las Vegas Strip.
